The Grove Wedding Photographer – Daill & Jimmy’s Winter Wedding

Jimmy and Daill make up one of those special couples that I feel privileged to call friends. When you establish a great relationship with your client at the very beginning, it becomes easy for your job to feel less like work. In February, I had the pleasure of photographing their gorgeous wedding day in the beautiful weather. The day was gorgeous…from the details and getting ready images of Daill at the stunning Grove venue in NJ to the beautiful chapel at Seton Hall University where they were married…Daill & Jimmy’s wedding was nothing short of magical. After saying their “I do’s” and having their portraits taken, Daill’s father told the marvelous crowd that gathered at their reception that he and his wife were married in the same chapel and had their wedding at a hall that used to be located on the very ground that The Grove now sits. There were photos of Daill & Jimmy’s grandparents in the hall outside the beautiful reception room, and the exquisite  flowers and details could be found through out the whole venue. But the most important detail(s) to Daill and Jimmy were the people that surrounded them. The couple danced and danced all evening, surrounded by their closest family and friends. An interactive DJ experience came useful especially when Jimmy stood to sing his beloved a song. After dances, speeches, and cutting the cake, the couple stood in a separate room, surrounded by more desserts than you can imagine, as a wall opened to reveal their reception hall. With firecrackers glowing on either side of them, they waved in their guests to come and join the Viennese hour. My warmest thanks to Cynee and Reilly for assisting me with this gorgeous wedding day and I congratulate Jimmy & Daill on their beautiful marriage! …the flowers….

My bouquet was a green and white wispy cascading style that consisted of mixture of garden roses, hydrangea, lisianthus, freesia, orchids, majolica spray roses, and dark succulents.

A word from the Bride

Never forget the most important part, marrying the person you love. A lot of couples get caught up in the planning and forget that they are going to start an amazing journey together! And to not sweat the small stuff too hard which was hard to do as a perfectionist, but I was able to do it and therefore was able to enjoy the day!
