The day after the second Nor’Easter that hit our area, I had a newborn session. I met with Adam, Shannon, and their three week old son, Gavin. Now typically, newborn sessions are supposed to be done within the first two weeks of life. The younger the babies are, the more they sleep and therefore, the more they cooperate. That being said, I have worked with babies that were 17 days old and were completely cooperative. Little Gavin was almost 21 days old when I photographed him, and luckily for all of us, he cooperated. He was awake and relaxed for the beginning of the session, making his open-eye photos absolutely adorable. He then fell asleep about an hour and a half in, and remained asleep for the rest of the shoot. We were able to snag some adorable shots of him propped up in a basket and sporting different hats. It was a beautiful morning spent with a wonderful little family. Like this Horsham Newborn Session? Click here to see more work from other newborn sessions!
