Wildwood Wedding Photographer – Ryan & Beth

Second Shooter Keristin Gaber

For the entire week before Beth and Ryan were to marry on 6/2, the forecast was less than favorable. We were convinced that the rain and humidity were there to stay with little hope for a dry day…but once more, my team and I were proven wrong. While it was indeed hot, it did not rain and the couple was able to have their outdoor beach ceremony and tented rooftop wedding reception without their guests getting wet! What made this wedding even more beautiful was the fact that Ryan & Beth surrounded themselves with amazing friends and family and you could certainly feel the love in the room! Take a look below for some of the amazing beachy details from Beth & Ryan’s special day! For more work from this Wildwood Wedding Photographer, click here.

how they met…

We met through mutual friends and interest in music and local shows. We’ll be together ten years in July.

why the beach…

We have always dreamt of a beach wedding because the beach is our happy place. We love to escape to the beach any chance we get, so it seemed only fitting for us to get married there.

how he asked…

Ryan proposed on a vacation in Ocean City, New Jersey on the boardwalk, one of our favorite places. He also invited both our parents and siblings and a few friends and we had dinner to celebrate afterwards.

the color scheme & florals…

We wanted to keep it simple and romantic with white, blush, pink and greenery. We had garden roses, roses, ranunculus, anemones, hydrangea, carnations, astilbe, baby’s breath, leather leave, tree fern, Italian  ruscus, silver dollar eucalyptus.

the decor…

We had a memory table with photos of loved ones who have passed, a burlap Mr. and Mrs. banner, a driftwood sign, driftwood with flowers, and lighthouses with candles inside surrounded by flowers

in short…

Our wedding day was nerve-racking at first worrying about the weather, but it turned out better than we could have imagined. It was truly a magical day filled with love and laughter.

advice from the bride…

Don’t stress too much about the small things, you’ll be glowing with happiness that day no matter what because you get to marry your best friend and that’s all that really matters.
